Double Recognition for Ryal Bush

Double Recognition for Ryal Bush

The Civil Contractors New Zealand (CCNZ) Southland 2025 Construction Awards were held on August 29, where the Ryal Bush Contracting team earned a Highly Commended Award for the Chesney Mews Subdivision Construction project.

Situated at the corner of Chesney and McQuarrie Streets in Invercargill, Ryal Bush was engaged to undertake the construction of the 47-lot subdivision, including earthworks, drainage, utility services, and roading infrastructure, with support from several subcontractors for specialist tasks. Aggregate sourced from the company’s Viner Road Quarry was used throughout the project.

Ryal Bush’s very own Brody Davidson also took home Foreman of the Year honours. Brody received praise for his hands-on leadership style and dedication to skill development, with judges noting his exemplary health and safety standards and strong commitment to community engagement.

Ryal Bush completed the initial scope of works in June 2025 and has since been appointed to construct the subdivision’s house pads, continuing its contribution to this significant local development.
