Te Unua Museum of Southland

Allied Concrete is proud to be supplying Ecrete™ E30 low-carbon concrete to the Te Unua Museum of Southland project in Invercargill; a major community build, led by Invercargill City Council and Naylor Love.

Supply so far this year has been dedicated to the museum’s groundwork. A key milestone included the successful pour of an Ecrete™ E30 low-carbon concrete 150m³ concrete slab, made possible through the combined efforts of contractors, placers, pump operators, and the supply team.

So far, Allied Concrete has supplied 795.8m³ of Ecrete™ E30 to this job, alongside providing Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) through our EPD On-Demand service. This has given the customer clear visibility of the carbon impact of the concrete used, supporting their sustainability goals with transparent and readily available and accessible data.

The museum is due for completion in late 2026. Allied Concrete will continue to work together alongside other contractors to help bring a landmark project to life for Southland.
