Taking off!
Following extensive research across both New Zealand and Australia, the team at Herbert's Transport identified the growing importance of innovation in agriculture. In response, the business has invested-in and launched a new agricultural service designed to bring cutting edge technology through the use of two XAG P100 Pro drones. These drones deliver precision spraying and spreading services aimed at increasing efficiency and adding value to the farming sector. To support the new drone fleet, Herberts Transport has developed a fully-equipped trailer containing all necessary spraying equipment, chemical mixing systems, generators, and drone battery chargers. In addition, a custom attachment has been engineered for one of the company’s Glasgow self unloaders, enabling rapid drone refills within seconds. Combined, the drones are capable of spreading between 1500 and 2000 kilograms per hour. It’s quite frankly, impressive stuff!
