The first three weeks of the programme is spent in the classroom, obtaining a Class 2 Learner’s Licence and Health & Safety requirements for working within the Transport Industry. Once this has been completed the students are then assisted in gaining a placement for work experience where they will spend two days a week working for a Transport Company.  Mid way through the programme, a full week of work experience is completed. While there is a number of days spent in the classroom completing written theory, there will be scheduled time spent out in the yard doing practical training on the different type of machines and heavy vehicles.
